Episode 96 - 1955 Fender Precision Bass

We are lucky this week to have in-hand a rare bass guitar. All original, in a one-off custom color, a full two years before Fender brought custom colors to their production line, is this 1955 Precision Bass.

But it’s not so much the bass itself as the story behind it that fascinates us. Thanks to The Bass Shop here in West Seattle for loaning us this fine instrument, as well as their time and expertise!
