Episode 220 - Gretsch Roc Jet 7611

In 1967 Gretsch was bought by the Baldwin Piano Company. Like CBS-era Fenders before them, and Norlin-era Gibsons after them, expectations for continued quality were….measured. Of the guitars produced during the Baldwin-era, sure enough, there were some questionable moves. This week, however, we’re playing the Roc Jet 7611, and it is a ripper. Enjoy!

We’re also proud to welcome our newest sponsor - Self Care non-alcoholic beer by 3 Magnets Brewing Company. Their beverages are seriously tasty, and if you use the promo code HIGHGAIN you’ll get 15% off your first order!

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Our newest sponsor (and best friends ever) over at 3 Magnets Brewing Co. sent us some amazing Self Care NA Beer beverages to try out. How's that for making a good impression? This week, both John and Ed had the Scherler Easiest Non-Alcoholic Premium Shitty American Lager. They are happy, yet somehow sad, to report that it is not shitty.
