Episode 118 - The Rickenbacker 350

One of the most famous Rickenbacker guitars is also one of the earliest. John Lennon bought a 325 in 1963. Over the years there would be many variants on this perennially popular model. One of was introduced in 1985 - the 350.

Sporting the same diminutive body as the 325, but without the vibrato arm, this model also featured a full scale neck. How’s it sound?

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverage contributed to the success of this episode: Now that he's home again, Ed finally got into his half of the Great Orca Beverage Stash of 2020. His first choice was a bold one - a Dragontail Lightning Cola with Tea. Wow... John changed it up this week with a beverage in a blues glass bottle that said only 'Bawls Guarana Original'. Some sort of energy drink, apparently. It was tasty enough, and did carry a certain zing... This week’s beverage intro song clip, performed live in-studio (mostly) is What Is Love? by Howard Jones.
