Episode 145 - Baranik Guitars with Mike Baranik

What a great episode this was! The one and only Mike Baranik of Baranik Guitars stopped by our corner of the internet box, fresh off the high of seeing an instrument he made played on national television (we officially love Phoebe Bridgers, and Harrison Whitford is a badass). If you want to know what goes into making some of the finest instruments there are, grab a beverage and sit for a spell.

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed went all next-level with his coffee beverage, drinking it cold from a can. That's commitment, and he's not scared of it. John had multiple coffee beverages. One was straight up grandpa-style, headin' out to work on the railroad black coffee. The other was more experimental. John poured a chocolate protein shake into a cup of coffee. Special guest Mike Baranik of Baranik Guitars was not playing around, and was in no mood to show up with weak beverages. He had some kind of fancy water AND a beer. Touche, Mike, touche. Owing to one of Mike's guitars being on TV, this week’s beverage intro song clip, performed live in-studio was Kyoto by Phoebe Bridgers.
