Episode 235 - Fender American Vintage II Telecaster Deluxe

Fender first started putting humbuckers in its guitars in order to be more competitive in a world full of Gibson Les Pauls. They didn’t last very long, and didn’t set the Les Paul landscape on fire. But these instruments had their fans, and they knew what they liked. So it really isn’t surprising to see the new American Vintage II guitars from Fender. We got our hands on the AV II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe, and had the chance to compare it to our own 1973 Telecaster Deluxe. Enjoy!

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed went with a Twist of Lime Topo Chico. Saucy... John enjoyed another Olipop - this time Ginger Lemon. He loves that snap.
